For those arriving by train, you can use a shuttle service to the nearest bus stop. A paid shuttle service to each attraction is also available. The space [Common space on the 1st floor] The house has an open-ceiling. The dining and living area are equipped with a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas and personal chairs for your relaxation. On the terrace overlooking Mt. Kaikomagatake, you can enjoy meditating, doing yoga, reading a book, working with laptop, or taking a nap. Toilet, washroom, and bathroom are located at the back of the dining and living room. [Guest room on the second floor] It is 19.44 square meters in size. You may feel it's smaller as it's an attic room. It is an attic-style room with a high ceiling in the center, which is approx. 180 cm, and triangular drops on both sides. There is no door, but a kimono sash hung on the fence serves as a blindfold to maintain privacy. *Please do not choose this listing if you are concerned about the lack of a door. You can reach the loft by ladder stairs. [Guest bedding] 1 semi-double bed (width 110 cm, length 200 cm) and 1 set of futon [Facilities] - WiFi - A/C - Refrigerator, microwave oven - Hair dryer, bath towels, shampoo/conditioner, body soap in the bathroom *Please bring your own toothbrush and paste, hairbrush, and room wear. [Dog to walk with] A friendly toy poodle boy "Luna" is waiting for you. Please feel free to walk with him. A microwave oven, kettle, pan, dishes, cups, glasses, and cooking tools, vegetable oil, salt & pepper and soy sauce are available. *Please use a kitchen for simple cooking only such as preparing tea and coffee, heating cooked or pre-cooked foods in the microwave, and cook egg. [Location] The house is in a small villa complex of about 20 houses in the mountain area. It is located far from the train station and town. You need a car to get to stores, cafes, restaurants, and hiking trails. [Public Transportation if you don't drive] Please take JR from Tokyo and get off at Hinoharu station. For those who travel from Osaka and Kyyoto, please take a highway bus and get off at Nirasaki station, then transfer to a JR train for Hinoharu station. *The host picks you up at the nearest bus stop. When you arrive at the Hinoharu JR station, please take bus No. 3 at 17:35 and get off at the Mukawa-cho Library (10 minutes). *If you take a highway bus from Tokyo and get off at the Sudama (Sutama) bus stop, a shuttle service is available for 2,000 yen for one way. [Cleaning] For those staying for consecutive nights, a host provides a simple room cleaning and changes towel every 2 days. Sheets and pillow covers will be changed every 7 days. [Washing and Drying] The use of washing and drying machine is available for 700 yen up to 5 kg. It takes 4 to 4.5 hours to finish. If you would like to use only washing machine and dry the clothes outside, it costs 300 yen up to 5kg. [Charging Electric Vehicles] There is a free quick charger at the Hakushu Roadside Station, a 10-minute drive from here. [Hiking/Trekking] This area is designated as a Southern Alps National Park and offers hiking and climbing opportunities to Shojinga Falls, Oshirakawa Valley, Mt Hinata, Mt Amagatake and Mt Kaikomagatake. However, the respective hiking/climbing entrances require 15-40 minutes by car and 60-120 minutes on foot. No public transportation is available. If you don't drive, a shuttle service and electric bike are available for a fee. [Insects] The host keeps a house clean, but because it is in the mountains, sometimes insects enter the house. [Quiet Time] Please take a shower by 8:30pm. After that, the host will use the bathroom and clean it up. Also, please stay in your guest room after 9pm. You can go to bed and wake up any time. *Recommended for those who love nature and a dog and enjoy interacting with a host. *Please do not choose this listing if you are concerned about privacy, allergic to dogs, or insects.
