Cosy Ski Retreat Near Verbier

Charming traditional Swiss chalet, ideal for a romantic retreat or an adventurous family ski/bike holiday. The cozy retreat comfortably accommodates 2-5 guests. Located just a 5-minute drive from the nearest lifts, you’ll have quick and easy access to the renowned Verbier slopes and bike park. The chalet is fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, including fresh linens and towels. The chalet’s intimate size makes it best suited for couples or small families. The space Welcome to our home! Please note that this is a private residence, not a commercial property. We live here and ocasionally open it for guests. The house features a master bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a small kids' room with a single bed. This room is an open space with no walls. We can set 2 extra mattresses or inflatable bed on request. There is one toilet located on the first floor and a bathroom with toilet on the second floor. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area are ready for you to prepare and enjoy meals. Heating is provided by 2 pellet fireplaces. Please note that guests are responsible for maintaining the fireplaces during their stay. There is basic food, coffee, tea, condiments, spices etc in the cupboards. You are welcome to use them. There are also cleaning products available. We hope you enjoy your time here and feel right at home! Guest access The two floors are at your disposal. 2 storage rooms on the ground level as well as the attic are off-limits. Other things to note Skiing: Your best plan to reach the ski zone would be to go to Le Châble, leave your car at the parking and take the gondola to Verbier and the ski zone. You can also take the train to le Chable. There is a rental shop at the gondola station in Le Châble called Montagne Show which is convenient and you can also leave your rented equipment there so you don’t need to carry it around all the time. Getting to Le Châble Drive: Vollèges is 5 km (5 min drive) to Le Châble, where you take the lift to Verbier. By Bus and Train: Take the train from Etiez station to Le Châble (push the button for Le Châble, as Etiez is a stop on request). Getting to Verbier LIft: The Le Chable - Verbier gondola (lift) is our main public transport. It is open 05:10- 23:55 and it takes 10 min from Le Chable to Medran station (in the heart of Verbier). You can use it for skiing but also if you want to go out in Verbier. You can also drive to Verbier but parking lots are limited and a not cheap.
