Gîte "La Linde" (3 stars) is a detached cottage, located by the swimming pool in the walled garden of "Maison d'amis" from 1650. The cozy living room has French doors to your own veranda and the large swimming pool with unobstructed views of the valley. There is a modern open kitchen and a sleeping area. The beds are made for you upon arrival. The bathroom is spacious, complete with toilet, walk-in shower and sink furniture. We rent the gîte for a minimum of three consecutive nights. The space Gîte La Linde is a detached authentic cottage with a large swimming pool in a beautiful spot in the garden of our centuries-old steward's house. The gîte is fully at your disposal and offers full privacy. You can relax in the cozy combined living room/bedroom/kitchen (studio). Of course, you have WiFi. Adjacent to the living room is your own veranda overlooking the pool and the green valley. The open kitchen is completely furnished. The sleeping area has box spring beds. For €7.50 per person, you can rent a linen package, consisting of: 2 hand towels 1 bath towel 1 kitchen towel 1 tea towel. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink. The swimming pool has a terrace with sunbeds and parasols. You can park your car for free in the backyard. All amenities for your shopping and otherwise are within walking distance. Through a picturesque alley, you are directly on the market square where you can visit various markets. There is also a cozy restaurant with a large terrace. In the months of July and August, you can join the locals at the long cozy dining tables every Friday evening in the market square. Around the square are all kinds of food trucks so you can compose your own meal and have your meat dish grilled for free. There is also live music available! If you feel like walking through a few old streets, we recommend discovering the castle of Salignac. Last but not least, the beautiful old city of Sarlat and the beautiful rivers La Dordogne and La Vezére are within easy reach. Guest access Upon arrival, you will receive your own key to the gîte. This is entirely at your disposal and offers full privacy. The entire property is walled. The large swimming pool is no less than 11 meters long. You sometimes share this with other guests. In the large garden, you can find a nice spot to relax in the warm sun. Or you can choose to nap in a hammock in the shade of the trees. Other things to note The gîte is available for rent for a minimum of 3 consecutive nights. Would you like to come with more than 2 people? That is possible; there is a spacious second gîte for rent with us, called La Madeleine, suitable for 2 adults. Ask for the conditions and availability. You can do your shopping within a few minutes' walk. There is a bakery, a butcher, a neighborhood supermarket and a restaurant (also pick up).
