Please be aware for the present time , Medina lake is only 2.4% full , so there’s no swimming or fishing . The space Welcome to Sunset Haven in the heart of the Texas Hill country! This thousand square-foot home is very open for sharing space and privacy in bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked, including all the barbecue utensils that you need. The outdoor grill can use charcoal or wood. There is cut cedar available for making a nice fire for the fire pit. There’s an area in the back for playing cornhole and horseshoes. A hammock is also available for relaxing. Our two bedroom , one bath vintage home has been fully restored and just waiting for your family to enjoy. Whether you are here to relax and get away from the city enjoying acres of nature that surround us, BBQ and playing games in the yard or game room. You can maybe watch a beautiful hill country sunset with a glass of wine from our back yard deck. We have it all! Birdwatching and deer being fed on the property is a great enjoyment. Guest access Lockbox with key located on right side of house on air conditioner’s metal frame. The entire property is for your use , as well as daily walks or bike rides on Bluebill Cove and Mountain Drive. Morning sunrise is enjoyed from the front porch, while sunsets are greatly enjoyed from the back deck and yard. Other things to note The beautiful 54’ back deck is a place to enjoy the outdoors, visit and grill. There’s also a seated fire pit. 1 1/2 acres are available to explore. When the lake is up you have lake access for swimming that’s about a 200 yd walk down the ravin. There’s no dock but you can hang out and swim from the bank. The county park is only 1 1/2 miles ( about a 5 min. drive ) from the house and for a small fee, you can fish, swim or boat. It’s a beautiful park when the lake is full . Our 300 sf attached outdoor game room allows for sitting and relaxing, playing board games, arcade machine, shuffle board and darts.
