Description
Located on the ground floor of our house, in the heart of the medieval village of Lautrec, this renovated apartment, while retaining the charm of the old, will allow you to enjoy a pleasant, quiet and cool space in summer. You will have independent access from a common entrance hall to our home, overlooking the main street, a short walk from the Plùm café. Ideally designed for 4 people, to be comfortable in the living area, it can nevertheless accommodate up to 7 people. The space We live in a large 3-story house. Our private area is on the floor where we live with 3 children including a baby. A small studio at the entrance is also rented year-round. The apartment we rent to guests is therefore independent, although within our house. Once booked, you have this place to yourselves. Guest access You can use the rooms in the apartment that are available to you. Other things to note Lautrec is a medieval village classified as pleasant to live in and visit, not having been transformed into a museum village. As you turn the corners of the streets you will find some craft shops, good restaurants and bars, you will enjoy the many events organized throughout the year (especially during the summer period, but not only): concerts (Café Plùm), garlic and bread festivals, Festivaout, Lautrec Objectif Bulles (comic book festival)... Lautrec is close to cities with rich heritage: Albi (35 min), Gaillac (40 min), Castres (20 min), Lisle-sur-Tarn, Rabastens or Cordes-sur-Ciel (1 hour) but also Graulhet, Carmaux, Mazamet for industrial heritage. Nature lovers will not be disappointed since Lautrec also offers several hiking trails, and the greenway connecting Castres to Puygouzon passes at the foot of the village (electric bike rental possible in the village). Nearby, you can stroll through the Sidobre and its granite rocks or the Montagne Noire, swim in the Bancalié or Montagnès lakes, among others...
