Unique tranquil get away. Built in 1931 is a very authentic rustic cabin , full of love and gives you a feeling of what it would be like to live in 1931 yet a few luxuries for todays world. The cabin is small & cozy, queen size bed in bedroom, full size sofa bed , 2 small futons in loft that would sleep 2 kids. Sleep 6 if 2 of guest were kids or young teens . Close by Madam Carroll ,Indiana Beach, Summer Beach House beach & Tall Timbers. 27 miles to Purdue ! The space Welcome sports fans of all sports ! This cabin is one of a kind. A special place to Stay during all Holidays, 🌸🇺🇸🍁🌲🎉It is cozy with an open concept. A beautiful stone island and gorgeous workable fireplace. There is a walkout porch with patio chairs and a grill. There are stairs to climb to get to the main door of cabin. Inside cabin theirs stairs to climb to get up to the the loft . Great for kids and young teens. Games, books and toys. I would not advise under 5 years old to stay in loft. 1 bedroom with a tv as well as a tv in the living room. Tv in loft , all have Roku and Internet available. This is a perfect weekend getaway or a summer week of fun! Nice area to walk. The surrounding homes are fancy as they come while others are pretty ruff around the edges. Beautiful view of the lake from the cabin porch. Outdoor fire 🔥 pit , nice place to relax . To get to the lake follow path on side of house and across the road, between tan house and fence. This is where the easement is to get to the dock and Lake Freeman . It is not large but is suitable for fishing , swimming and can park a boat. The water is deep so be safe and have fun. Unfortunately at this time the stairs need to be replaced to the easement . You can still get to it but it is a slightly rugged down hill area to get to the path. I love my cabin and have decided to share this unique place. If you would like to use the fire pit or fireplace $10 for firewood will last 1-2 days. Please let me know ahead of time and I will add the charge or you may request it. Thank you so much Lois Guest access Upstairs main floor 2nd floor is the loft, small area great for kids over 5 years old. Lower area is basement with washer and dryer. Other things to note Stairs to climb to enter the cabin door as well as inside to climb to the loft. Smoking only outside , smoking area out side patio chairs and table
