The Bear's Barn at Alcester Heath Farm is a stunning, newly converted open-plan barn conversion with incredible countryside views. Situated just outside the beautiful market town of Alcester, 20 minutes from Stratford-upon-Avon, this accommodation is well equipped, and ideal for country walks and enjoying the Warwickshire countryside. With a king-sized bed and a sofa-bed, this is ideal for two people or a young family. The space Alcester Heath Farm dates back to the 17th Century, and is located about a mile outside the historic market town of Alcester. The Bear's Barn is a self-contained open-plan barn conversion, to the rear of the farmhouse. The barn conversion was completed in February 2024. The barn has a well equipped kitchen, an adjoining lounge area with log burner and a bedroom with a king-sized bed on the mezzanine floor. A double sofa bed is also available on the ground floor, but be aware that the entire barn is open-plan - so is not designed for multi-family occupancy. There is a spacious shower-room with WC. The fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, built-in oven, microwave and fridge with a freezer compartment. Broadband internet is available. There are numerous public footpaths in the locality, and the accommodation is ideal for walkers. There are plenty of walks available directly from the property. We welcome well behaved dogs, and you can use our one-acre paddock. The accommodation is ideal for individuals, couples or a family group with small children. Guest access The Bear's Barn is completely self-contained, with its own entrance, parking and keylock. You also have access to our one-acre paddock to exercise yourselves and your dog (if you have one). Low beam alert: as you will see from the pictures, when converting the barn, the original beams, inside bay walls and braces have been retained. This does mean that you will need to duck under the wooden braces (diagonal beams) in order to get into the kitchen, bathroom and up the stairs to the mezzanine floor. Other things to note This is our second Airbnb property – we also have a two-bedroomed annexe, which is adjacent to the barn. If you require more than one bedroom and/or a fenced-in garden area – you may want to check it out. Plus, if both properties are available, you could book both in order to accommodate more people. Please message me if you have any questions. EV Charger: we have an Ohme EV charger attached to our house, and can offer guests overnight electric vehicle charging subject to prior arrangement.
