Lofty Views - Studio Hideaway
Lofty Views - Studio Hideaway
Description
Surround yourself with nature and mountain views, fabulous sunsets and sunrises, and dark sky starry nights. Situated by the Hikuwai Reserve in a quiet leafy, established neighbourhood with a short stroll to the Clutha River, there’s easy access to a network of bike and walking tracks which will take you anywhere around Albert Town and Wanaka. The space The loft sits above our garage, separate from the main house where I live. It is a cosy, well lit space with great views of the surrounding mountains. A spacious studio layout, with partitioning between living spaces, provides some privacy between the bedroom, Tv area, bathroom and kitchenette. Guest access Access through a joint lobby, at the end of the house. The garage and house are locked to guests, however, you will have your own set of keys to the loft, so you can come and go at your leisure, returning home to peace and privacy. Other things to note Albert Town has a great local food and beverage service area just off the main highway by the river bridge that includes an award winning Patisserie, a hot food takeaway shop, a well-stocked grocery store and the local tavern with restaurant and bottle store. Centrally located between Wanaka and Hawea, and only minutes from the main highways, the loft is a great base from which to explore the area. Travel north to impressive Lake Hawea, and onto the stunning bush covered Haast Pass to the West Coast, or south to Queenstown past Lake Dunston through vineyards and Orchards. Three Parks is 3.5 km away, via the Wanaka highway and Sir Tim Wallis Drive, where you will find a large commercial retail and boutique shopping area with a New World supermarket and ample parking, including the Wanaka Recreation Centre and swimming pool. The lovely Wanaka Township and beautiful Lake Wanaka is less than 5 km away, or 10 minutes by car. Here you will find a characterful mix of old and new cafes, bars, restaurants, specialized retail and boutique shops and services. The i-Site is located at the lakefront on Ardmore Street for all local information and advice. Please note, that we do not allow the use of camp stoves or other portable electric or gas cookers of any kind in the loft. However, guests are certainly welcome to bring food in and eat in the loft. The space is equipped with cutlery, crockery, bowls and cups, plus a microwave, toaster and sandwich press, as seen in the photos.
