Rustic Country Retreat

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built in 1780 this historic home is rustic but comfortable. The 5 acre grounds Include an old cemetery, private rear deck with hot tub, and plenty of space to roam, and you will be entering off a section of the trail of tears. The place is filled with history. Only the bedroom with its own newly renovated bathroom is being offered. Included is a small beverage refrigerator, kurig coffee maker, microwave, and a wonderful porch swing. The space This is a four bedroom home and I’m renting one room with its own bath. Although I will be there the entire time the bedroom has its own separate entrance and porch so you can have as much privacy or interaction as you want. You will have access and are free to use the rest of the house. Although the kitchen is currently under renovation it’s about 90% complete and fully functional. Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to use the kitchen so I can explain where everything is. And please clean as you go. Guest access The bedroom and en-suite bath is in its own separate wing of the house with a private entrance. Feel free to use the rear deck and hot tub accessed through the main kitchen. During your stay I will be home the entire time so I am always available. With access to the rest of the house I have made many friends through this rental and love getting to know my guests, but also feel free to keep to yourself, lock the door and keep your own privacy, it’s completely up to you. Other things to note I am currently renovating the kitchen so during the day there might be some light construction noise. If at any point it becomes too bothersome you are free to ask me to stop. I want your stay to be the best it can be. If you have more than two people check out my second bedroom listing. It’s not as private but is a good second space within own bathroom also.
