Private Room (#1) on the 2nd floor in a quiet DeKalb neighborhood. This is a shared-living setup inside our active family home. Guests share two guest bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and living room directly with us. Includes RO purified water, high-speed Wi-Fi, clean linens, and on-site laundry (BYO detergent). The space SHARED HOME AND FAMILY ENVIRONMENT DETAILS This is a private room inside our active family home. My wife, myself, and our two young children live here full-time. While we enforce strict quiet hours at night, our children play and are active during daylight hours. You will hear normal daytime household noise. If you work night shifts, require absolute daytime silence to sleep, or are sensitive to the everyday sounds of a family environment, our home will not be a good fit for your needs. By booking, you explicitly acknowledge that you are sharing a home with young children and accept the daytime family environment. Guest access Location: This private room is located on the second floor of our house. Bathrooms: Shared bathrooms are located on both the first and second floors. Entry: Guests will utilize a common entrance door via a digital secure keypad and climb stairs to access the room. Other things to note HOUSE RULES AND COMPLIANCE To maintain a safe and peaceful environment for our family and all residents, we strictly enforce a zero-tolerance policy for the following rules: 1. CAPACITY: Maximum 2 guest (Second guest pays extra guest fee). No overnight visitors. No pets allowed. 2. SUBSTANCES: STRICTLY NO smoking, vaping, alcohol, drugs, or weapons anywhere on the property. 3. FOOTWEAR: Please remove your shoes immediately upon entering the front door. No shoes worn inside the house. 4. SCHEDULE: Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced. Shared kitchen, laundry, and common area access is limited during night hours to respect household sleep. 5. PRIVATE FAMILY QUARTERS AND HOUSEHOLD BOUNDARIES: Please respect our household boundaries: Your booking grants you exclusive access to your private bedroom and shared access to the designated kitchen, laundry, dining area, living room, and shared bathrooms. All other residential areas—including the backyard, garage, shed, first-floor master suite, family bedrooms, home office spaces, and designated private storage zones—are strictly off-limits and reserved exclusively for our family.
