Seaward Cottage North Shore/ Malagash

The 150 year old handhewn post and beam seaside Cottage is a year-round 600 square foot quiet getaway. Relax around the Fire Pit . Our rustic cottage features a vineyard with private access to the beach that guests are free to explore. Enjoy the warm waters of the Strait and explore the many tidal pools and sandbars and hunt for fossils which in the nearby cliffs. Many shore birds frequent the area as well as the occasional seal bobbing in the ocean. The space 4 Acres of vineyard and lawns with direct access by stairs to a secluded beach this property is easy to access but rural and is great for daytime fun and star watching during the dark night. Your host lives on the property just through the vineyard. The beach stairs will be removed in the fall and replaced at the of April. Guest access Drive up and enter! Your host is next door but the cottage will be unlocked and waiting for you when you arrive. Please keep vehicles on the gravel areas. Other things to note We are situated close to Jost Winery and are just a short drive to Tatamagouche, Wallace, Fox Harbour, Pugwash & Wentworth. Tatamagouche features an amazing farmers market, shops, eateries, trail systems, golf courses and much more. Ski Wentworth is a 30 minute drive away as we just off the Sunrise Trail hwy 6. BBQ replaced August 2024. New picnic table and fireside chairs 2026. The utility room has beach chairs, sand toys and lawn games.
