The hot water in the flat is very hot, so be sure to mix taps with a good amount of cold water . The hot water comes to the flat via a large immersion heater therefore it is not entirely continuous. You will get at least two short showers or one long shower or one little bath. You will then need to wait 15 to 25 minutes before the hot water comes on again. The flat does back onto a large railway line but you are pretty high up and away from the trains, and of course windows can be closed to minimise any unwanted noise. On the plus side there are simply no roads within earshot so no beeping horns, buses or screaming scooters! Very rare in London!
