A perfect place to explore the amazing Northumberland coastline and market towns or; to simply hunker down, forget the world outside, and enjoy a cosy night for two in front of the log burner. With The Northumberland Coastal Route and Warkworth beach (arguably Northumberland’s best beach) on the doorstep; and just a short walk away, the historic village of Warkworth and its medieval Castle where you can fill up on history, culture, great food, and independent retailers. The space The main space can accommodate up to 4 people sleeping with: one double bed; a mezzanine level with full-sized single mattress, safety bar and detachable ladder; plus one box seat which converts into a single camp bed. Bedding for the double and mezzanine beds are provided as standard. Please let me know if you require bedding for the box bed. Heating is by cosy log burner with induction plate for boiling kettle- unlimited logs provided for your stay. Bathroom is complete with WC, basin and shower, with heated towel radiator. Towels are provided. Kitchen supplied with utensils and crockery (4 persons) for your stay, complete with fridge, 2-ring induction hob, microwave, toaster, kettle. For dining, you can make use of the fold away dining bench and stools. Outside of the hut, there is a good sized south-facing timber deck/terrace to enjoy. A gated lawn in front of the deck is great for sunbathing, picnic-ing, parking or a secure-area for dogs. Guest access Private use of Shepherd hut, decking and gated lawn. Other things to note Dogs welcome. The hut's site is to the side of a family-run caravan field and uses the main field entrance along with one other holiday house.
