Newly renovated rural retreat

Bramble Cottage is a newly renovated self contained cottage adjacent to our home with its own private entrance, secure parking and views of Bredon Hill. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay with high quality fittings and furnishings and offers a wonderfully convenient base to explore the local area. The village has two popular pubs and a village shop, all within a few minutes walk of Bramble Cottage. The area is popular with cyclists and we can offer secure bike storage & EV charging. The space Open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. Kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine, JBL speaker and ample crockery. We supply basic essentials including Teapigs teabags, peppermint and camomile tea, coffee, coffee pods, sugar,salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. There is free Wi-Fi and a Freeview TV plus plenty of plugs and charging points. The bedroom has a king size bed with award winning Emma mattress, together with luxury cotton sheets and cosy blankets. The curtains have blackout lining, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. There is space to hang and fold clothes plus an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The en-suite wet room has a spacious, powerful shower with hot water provided by a combi boiler, a heated towel rail and towels provided. There is underfloor heating throughout ensuring a warm, cosy stay. We try to do our little bit for the planet by providing eco- friendly toiletries, loo roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. Bottles are refilled to avoid single use plastic and we are happy to refill during your stay, should you require it. Outside there is a parking space behind secure, electric gates and a small patio with dining furniture where you can enjoy a drink whilst admiring the view of Bredon Hill. An EV Charger is available by request. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for children under 12 years old. If you like the look of Bramble Cottage but it is unavailable on the dates you require, please do have a look at Cedar Cottage which is also on site. The Local Area Eckington lies at the base of Bredon Hill, part of the Cotswold Escarpment, with the River Avon meandering around the village. This offers outdoor enthusiasts plenty of idyllic walks and water sports such as paddle boarding and kayaking. Around Bredon Hill are pretty villages with pubs, coffee shops and picturesque churches. Further afield, there is Regency Cheltenham, popular for horse racing (the racecourse is a 20 minute drive away). Worcester and its majestic cathedral, cricket ground and porcelain museum is also worth a visit and Stratford-upon-Avon with its renowned theatre is an easy 35 minute drive away. Popular Cotswold destinations such as Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Burford are within easy reach, providing plenty of choice for days out.
