"The Cellar" at Villa Augusta

Villa Augusta is a Tuscan inspired home on 30 acres in beautiful wine country. Wineries, the Katy trail and the MO river are just minutes away There are 2 separate & private rental spaces Enjoy the 2BR/1BA known as "The Cellar" on the entire lower floor, (this listing) or look to "The Villa," (our other listing). Return from a day at the wineries or biking the KatyTrail and relax in pool/spa or try a game of BOCCE ball. All outdoor spaces are shared. All indoor spaces are completely private. The space Villa August just won 2023 CUSTOM HOME OF THE YEAR by the HBA in St Louis. This rental has a 16 foot sliding door that overlooks the forest and has its own private patio with plenty of seating for your group. This space takes up the lower level and is 1600 square feet with 2BR/1 BA and has plenty of entertaining space including a special wine tasting room. The Cellar is completely private although it is attached to the Main house where owner resides most of the year. Guest access Guests will have complete privacy on the lower floor of Villa Augusta. Outdoor spaces (Except for the private patio) are shared with guests from "The Villa" Should you want to ensure you have the pool/hot tub and outdoor areas to your group, you can also rent "The Villa" (which is a 2 BR/2 BA, 1100 square foot private and separate space, occupying the entire upper level of the home.) Owner occupies Main level most of the year. Guests have access to outdoor covered area, courtyard, yard and of course the pool, spa and BOCCE court Pool closes end of Sept Commercial size outdoor Spa all year if temps> 40 degrees. Spa doesn’t stay hot enough if weather too cool During the months Sept-April please allow us to know “general” time frame when you plan to use, so we can boost temp (Usually we can get to spa temp in less than 2 hours) Other things to note Pool open lateApril/early May Spa opened year round as long as temperatures are above 40 degrees.Pool closes in Sept 4 Bikes and helmets and a bike rack for car/SUV available with advance reservation. First come, First serve. Katy trail 1.8 miles away, can bike to it, but extremely hilly and curvy road.
