This beautiful & bright apartment is fully furnished & is located in a secure 4-story building with an elevator. Making your stay Over The Top with the following: FREE Pick-up by Host from the Cuenca Airport or Bus Terminal SIM cards available for immediate use in your unlocked phones during your stay Bus cards available for immediate use This apartment is available to rent for a few days or long-term stays. It is in a secure building with parking garage and a private parking space. The building is just north of downtown and has easy access to buses ($.30 per ride) or taxis ($1.50 min up to $4.00 to get anywhere in town). Most places are within walking distance including fresh markets, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Air conditioning or heating is not needed in Cuenca but we do provide a small electric space heater and a fan for your comfort. We live across the hall in case you have any questions or need extra items. Please note: We request no children under 7 years old. Cuenca is at 8,500 ft. elevation. If you are walking, keep in mind there are uphills and downhills that might make you out of breath. Each weeknight (not weekends) there is a Zumba exercise class in the park across the street and they play music for one hour (8pm-9pm), unless it is raining. Also realize that all of Ecuador has street noise, so we recommend sleeping with ear plugs, white noise app on your phone, or we also provide a fan for comfort and noise reduction.
