Rural studio on the Waal

Enjoy peace and quiet and an unobstructed view in our comfortable studio, set in a completely renovated former stable. From your own seating area, you can look out over the meadow and the orchard. Explore the Rivierenland region on foot or by bike, via dikes and ferries across the Meuse and Waal rivers, go fishing or just enjoy the tranquility. Good WiFi also makes the studio suitable for working in peace, while various cities can be reached within an hour. The space The former stable has been completely converted into a comfortable and fully furnished studio. The studio is next to our distinctive thatched farmhouse, on a rural property among the meadows and orchards. From your own outdoor seating area, you have an unobstructed view of the adjacent meadow. Inside, you will find a double bed measuring 140 × 200 cm, a dining table, a television, comfortable seating, and ample storage space. The studio has a private bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Towels and bed linen are included. The kitchenette has a hob, fridge, coffee maker and kettle, and is equipped with crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, so you can also prepare a meal yourself. In the right season, guests are allowed to pick fruit in our garden. Among other things, cherries, grapes, figs, plums, apples, pears and nuts grow here. On the other side of the dike, the nature reserve along the Waal begins. Here you can walk beautifully. The Vonkerplas is less than a 5-minute walk away, where you can swim in the summertime if conditions permit. The Rivierenland region is also beautiful for cyclists, with routes over the dikes, along floodplains and orchards, and via the many ferries across the Meuse and Waal rivers. E-bikes can be charged at the studio. There are also plenty of opportunities for fishing in the area. Parking is available on the property, close to the studio. Coming with a bigger group? Outside, the studio has its own seating area and a private, sheltered area of the garden. The garden is not fenced or enclosed. The studio is located on the same property as our residential farmhouse. We live here ourselves with our three children and dog, and we are often busy in the yard and in the garden. The adjacent vacation home may also be rented out during your stay. Both accommodations have their own access and private outdoor area, but you may encounter other guests in the yard. The play equipment in the yard is for shared use. Parking is available on the property, close to the studio. Other things to note Our friendly Golden Retriever regularly roams freely around the farm. He is not allowed in the vacation home. Dreumel is only accessible to a limited extent by public transportation. There is a bus, but to explore the area properly, we recommend a car and/or bicycle. The holiday home is completely non-smoking. Smoking is also not allowed within 2 meters of the house. Receiving visitors who are not part of the booking is only allowed after consultation. There is parking for one car right next to the vacation home. If there are several cars, we may ask you to park them on the street.
