Ren cottage

This little historic cottage is quiet, peaceful, + central, with a private yard. When the weather is right, you can see the sea from upstairs! It is set back from the main roads + is on a one way street (=less traffic). There is on street parking available locally. The cottage is also an actual home, so it has a ‘lived in’ feel, rather than being Airbnb only. So, expect it to feel cosy + homey but not ‘perfect’ or shiny. It is an old listed cottage with original features. The space This is a homey home, suited not for perfectionists but well suited for travellers and explorers who can make themselves at home in a quirky little old cottage. The property opens to a small living room with an old fireplace (not working). The kitchen is small and opens to an outside yard. Up the wooden stairs behind a circus style peach velvet curtain you find a spacious and light bathroom that overlooks the yard at the back. The bedroom is quiet and still, with an old window overlooking gardens and rooftops. On a clear day, you can see a slice of sea on the horizon. The cottage would suit a couple on a getaway or a creative/ writer on retreat. It is small, cosy and simple. There are some comfy cushions available under the bed to make an extra bed on the floor - you’re welcome to bring children or a not too tall friend to sleep on these cushions - it isn’t a proper bed and so I haven’t listed it as such. It can accommodate an adult, or two small children, but you’ll need to make the bed up yourselves on the floor, and you’ll likely want to put it away in the daytime. It’s an ‘extra’ option, as it’s a little makeshift! Let me know if you’ll need this as sometimes I use it elsewhere.
