Our charming, arty and homely space is nestled under the magnificent Table mountain in the beautiful green and leafy city burb of Oranjezicht, historical and conveniently close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit into all directions of our gorgeous mother city Cape Town. The space Our house consists of a small contained garden with climbing gym, patio to lounge with bbq facilities as you enter the property. In the ground floor as you enter the house is the tv and play lounge, followed by the dinning area, another lounge area and into the kitchen. Through the kitchen is the scullery and laundry area as well as the guest loo. Upstairs you will find the 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom is en suite. The second bedroom is the children’s room fitted with bunk beds, a double below and the 3/4 above, the 3rd guest bedroom is at the end of the passage, these rooms share the family bathroom. There is a balcony upstairs with informal seating. And the spiral staircase which takes you to the roof top Terrance. Please note this space is still under construction and is not safe to use yet, we highly recommend you don’t use the space as there are unsafe elements to it. If you wish to take a peek or catch the breathtaking views you do so at your own risk and we highly recommend you don’t let children up there unsupervised. We cannot take any responsibility for any injuries related to the roof terrace. Please always close the baby gate at the top of the stairs to prevent small kids entering the terrace area. We also suggest the gate leading up the back stairs as well as the passage door leading to balcony is always closed and locked for your safety. Guest access The entire house is at our guests disposal with the exception of a few spaces . -our study (first room on the right as you enter from the front door, as we store our personal belongings in that space during your stay. -The garage/store room is also off limits except to replace gas bottles or use extra baby equipment for those who need that. -Lastly for now (as it’s under plan approval & development) our rooftop terrace is out of bounds as it’s still unsafe to use. Especially with children. We will take no responsibility for guests going up and being on it without permission. Other things to note This is our personal home, with many personal touches throughout the house, we expect guests to treat our home as they would their own. Therefore we ask you to be careful with our belongings and respect the home as well as the neighbourhood. We don’t mind small social hangouts/meals but do not allow parties, events or photographic shoots without our approval. We are a strictly no smoking (tobacco and E-cigarettes) indoors house. And ask any smokers to dispose of cigarettes in a responsible manner, and not in our garden.
