Takdah was a British army cantonment before India independence established in the year 1911. In early days Britishers have constructed many British colonial Bungalow for their army Officers and soldier. Now a days bungalows are owned by locals & some of them run as homestay. Takdah is also famous for different species of orchids,guest can visit sightseeing points from were you can see beautiful view and take a deep walk in the pine forest.
