The domes sleep 4 comfortably, but an additional 2 people could be added if you'd like to bring tents and camp amongst the stars during the warmer months. A short walk leads to Lake Petenwell, offering a private dock for swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding. Explore 4 miles of hiking trails along the lake or enjoy ATV-friendly roads. Please note that this is the first of three domes, and light construction will take place on-site this year on the 3rd connecting dome (2026). While a small area will be closed off for safety, no construction will occur during your stay. You may see building materials nearby, and the view from the kitchen windows could be partially obstructed. However, the inside of the dome remains completely unaffected. Our water system is sourced from a well and stored in a large holding tank, ensuring you have plenty of water for the shower, sink, and toilet. That said, we kindly ask guests to conserve water when possible. Since the water comes from a well, we do not recommend drinking directly from the sink—please bring extra drinking water. We’ll also provide a complimentary 5-gallon drinking water tank for your convenience. Nestled deep in a beautiful Pine forest, this property offers a true nature escape. Please be mindful that bugs, including mosquitoes and ticks, as well as occasional poison ivy, are part of the environment. We recommend bringing Deep Woods DEET or your preferred insect repellent. If you’re seeking an immersive outdoor experience with modern comforts but still close to nature, this is the perfect spot!
