A quirky and comfortable private room near the River Avon with tree views over the street. This place is ideal for those who desire a relaxing space that has beautiful nature walks close by and is near the centre of Bristol (15 minutes drive or 20 minutes by bus with the nearest bus stop 10 minutes walk away). The room is equipped with a cozy double mattress, storage space, a work desk, travel books, speedy WiFi & Netflix. Included is tea & coffee with filtered water & a kettle. Free parking. The space I’d like my guests to feel relaxed and at home, so you’re welcome to cook meals in the kitchen which is well equipped with hobs, an oven, air fryer, toaster, fridge and kettle. Feel free to make use of the seating areas in the south facing garden and conservatory whilst you’re here. This is a very peaceful house to relax in and you may see various wildlife including birds, foxes and cats. Please note that the room is on the 2nd floor and only accessible by stairs and the property you will be staying at is on a hill. The toilet and shower are shared by two other people living here. Free on street parking and bike storage is available. Guest access You will have your own key during your stay. During your stay I’m aware guests enjoy their privacy but I am also happy to spend time with them. I’m very approachable and am available to answer any questions in person or mobile and offer any advice on places to visit in Bristol having lived here for 10 years. Other things to note Public buses are approximately 10 minutes walk away connecting you to all of Bristol’s major transport links. The bus takes about 20 minutes into Bristol City Centre. Scooters and E Bikes are roughly a 7 minute walk away (subject to availability). For food shopping Sainsbury’s mini supermarket is 10 minutes walk away. There are various cafe’s, pubs, Deli’s and shops on Church Road which is approximately 5 minutes by bus or a 25 minute walk. The wonderful St George Park is also here, which has its own lake with ducks and swans. Troopers Hill Nature Reserve is within 5 minutes walk and is a lovely place to take in the sunsets and views over Bristol. Likewise. Conham River Park is 5 minutes away by foot and offers beautiful walks and cycle paths along the River Avon with access to woodlands and Temple Meads Station. Dundridge Park can also be found nearby, with open green spaces and lovely tree lined walks with easy access to the river.
