Light and cosy countryside Annexe

Welcome to our welcoming and homely space set in an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty; perfect for walks and tranquility! The village pub ‘The Queen Victoria’ is a 5 minute walk away; offering lunch and dinner, the City of Wells is a 10 minute drive, as is the large village of Cheddar, famous for its cheese and caves. Bristol and Bath are approximately a 30 minute drive away. The ideal setting to relax but also great access to nearby local areas of great interest should you wish to explore. The space Find us via a little country lane in a quiet village with no street lights. See all the stars at night and listen to the birds during the day… Our little Annexe is a bijou and unique space! It is perfect for a couple or a single person. It is attached to the main house (our home) which is very much enjoyed by our two young girls and family dog and our super friendly and chatty cat. We are a busy family who are constantly on the go, but we very much enjoy what the area we live in has to offer, and hope you do too. The Annexe is on one level and is accessed via a staircase (please see photo for details). Before the stairs you will walk through a long hallway which is the perfect place to store bikes, walking boots or anything else you don’t want to have to take upstairs. The main door opens into the kitchenette and relaxing area. Here you will find two inductor hobs, microwave and fridge. There is a kettle, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen is complete with all dining and cookware. There is a pull out table and stools neatly stored for dining. Two comfy armchairs finish the area, along with a selection of games. Directly next door is the bedroom space featuring a king sized bed, with a bed side table and lamp, cotton sheets, extra blankets, a roomy fitted wardrobe with a drawer, and a small cupboard which houses an ironing board, iron and a free standing fan. The bedroom has a wall mounted smart television. Accessed via the bedroom is a private bathroom with a walk in shower, white towels, sink and toilet. Guest access The Annexe has its own front door and is accessed via a staircase. Please see the photo for a visual of the stairs. There is a small graveled garden at the front of the Annexe which is complete with comfortable chairs and a table. Guests are welcome to use the area, which overlooks the lane on which the house is situated. Please note the front door to the house is also in this area, so it is not strictly private and may occasionally be in use. Other things to note There is a key box outside the property, to gain access yourself. This property is not suitable for pets or children. We are up a dead end lane which is generally very quiet and peaceful. However we do have detached neighbours, so you may occasionally encounter the odd car passing.
