Welcome to Sunshine Cottage! Once a 19th century blacksmith shop, this historical property has been fully updated with plenty of charm and modern comforts. Stylish and cozy, it has bedrooms on each floor to ensure that you and your guests have plenty of privacy. Includes a fully-stocked kitchen, home office, podcast/music studio, washer/dryer, plenty of tech and an enormous backyard, garage, and parking. 1 min. walk to the shore, 5 min. drive to Queen's University/downtown. The space The property is two stories: The top floor has a bedroom and a large loft, library and home office. The first floor has a large, sunny living room, bedroom, kitchen with a large island and side dining table. There's also an accessible bathroom with a shower, washer and dryer. Off of the living room is a semi-soundproofed studio for making music and podcasting. High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the house. Please note: The property has two queen beds, as well as one high-quality inflatable queen bed that can be placed in either bed room. A sleeping bag is also available to use as desired. The house has two large porches: one wrapping around the side of the house and another in the backyard. The backyard is full of trees and plants, offering plenty of privacy in the summer months and a wooden bench swing to enjoy year-round. The garage offers plenty of space for projects, working out or covered parking. Two additional parking spots are located behind the house on Union Street. Sunshine Cottage is only a few minutes from the water, beautiful walking trails, local bakeries and some of Kingston's favourite attractions.
