Close to many access points along the Upper Buffalo National River for fishing, floating, swimming and hiking. World class mountain bike trails, rock climbing and a thrilling zip line close by at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch. The space Small modern cabin is settled in the woods and very private. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, there is bathroom with walk in shower, and is a laundry room with washer and dryer for guest use. The large kitchen has everything you will need for cooking meals. In the living room you will find Wi-Fi TV, books and games. The sliding glass door opens onto a covered porch with comfortable outdoor seating. There is also a propane gas barbecue and outdoor table and chairs for your enjoyment. Take a short walk along the trail to a covered porch swing with glimpses of the Little Buffalo River. This is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. There is a circular driveway for easy access. Guest access Guests will have full use of the cabin and grounds. Feel free to explore the surrounding property, however, remember you are in the great outdoors, so you may encounter creepy crawlies, like mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, snakes, wasps, etc. Bringing some bug spray may be a good idea if you plan on hiking. You may be fortunate and see some wildlife. The Little Buffalo River is easily accessible for fishing less than a mile down the road, however you must still have an Arkansas fishing license that you can now apply for online. NO HUNTING IS PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY. Other things to note Newton County Arkansas is a dry county. This means there are no places to purchase alcohol. We suggest you bring beer, wine, spirits with you. The closest liquor store is about 15 miles north of Jasper. There is a well stocked grocery store in Jasper, Harps Grocery, Dollar General, Subway sandwiches, Jasper Pizza, Low Gap Cafe, Sharon Kay’s Diner and the Ozark Cafe. A couple of coffee place, The Wild Hare and Peggy Sue’s. Several miles out is Horseshoe Canyon Ranch Restaurant with a daily buffet and The Cliff House restaurant with great food and stunning views. There are also several seasonal food trucks in Jasper and Ponca, mostly open on weekends.
