Welcome to our Dahei (home) by the lake in Oberhofen on Lake Thun. Our small (about 30 m²) Dahei am See combines old & new. Oberhofen was named the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2018. It is located between Interlaken and Thun directly on Lake Thun. The space Our one-room apartment (studio) is located in a very old, original Oberhofen farmhouse directly in the village center with views of Oberhofen Castle. The bus stop, the Volg (shop which is also open on Sunday), the Schifflände (boats to Thun and Interlaken), the beach, the indoor pool, the castle and the castle park are within walking distance (all not further than about 400 m). Our studio is designed for 2 people. But we also have the option to set up another folding bed. This is a very old house. As a result, we have a room height of 2.15 m in the studio and a room height of 2.04 meters in the bathroom. In addition, it is possible that the floor creaks and the neighbors are occasionally heard (as is often the case in old, landmarked houses). It has a small kitchenette equipped with the most necessary items. It also has a small raclette oven and a fondue caquelon. On request, the garden may also be shared or we will provide you with a small table and chairs to enjoy an aperitif in front of the studio, for example. Guest access The front door key is in the key safe, which allows for independent check-in. The exact information will be communicated to you shortly before arrival. Other things to note Please keep the noise level low after 10 pm and before 6 am. Our neighbors will be very grateful. Please use water and electricity consciously and sparingly - for the sake of our environment. Things can break. Please report this to us immediately by message and note that damages are the responsibility of the guest. We are cosmopolitan people, have already traveled to many countries and always adhere to the values of the respective country. We also expect this from our guests.
