Escape from the city to this charming, rustic Miner's Cottage only 1 hour west of Melbourne. Set on 18 acres of peaceful farmland, Landfall Cottage shares the house yard with the main home but is fully self-contained and the original farmhouse of the property. With tasteful and cosy decor, it sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms and the sofa-bed can sleep a further 2 people in the lounge. Bush walks and birdsong abound in this tranquil setting. Ballarat, Daylesford and Trentham nearby! The space Fully self contained entire house set in a quiet tranquil country setting. Fully equipped kitchen with full size oven and stove top, kettle and pod coffee machine, toaster, microwave, full size fridge, all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Lounge area has a double sofa bed which sleeps 2 additional guests, Smart TV with streaming services and a DVD/CD player. Upright piano. Split system heating and air conditioning. Meals area with dining table for 4. Two bedrooms both with wardrobes, master with queen bed and 2nd bedroom with bunk beds for two. Full bathroom with heating and separate laundry with washing machine, dryer, clothes hoist, basket and pegs. Bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, hand and body liquid soaps) and clothes washing liquid provided. Guest access The entire property other than the main farmhouse is available for guests to use. Please leave all gates on the property as you find them as we have horses and chickens. Other things to note The deck area of the cottage has a table and chairs for two and a gas BBQ especially for those warmer summer nights. Feed the red and blue lorikeets with the bird seed provided. The deck also has a "Kid's Corner" with an old school desk full of colouring pencils, texters and paper and chalk for the blackboard on the wall. Hours of fun for the young ones. The lounge also has books, DVDs, music CDs, board games and kid's toys.
