Description
Large double bedroom, adjoining study/breakfast room, and separate bathroom in a Victorian townhouse in Workington, West Cumbria. The space You have private use of the two rooms on the top floor of my three-storey home and exclusive use of the bathroom, on the middle floor. My bedroom and study are on the middle floor, and I use the shower-room on the ground floor. There are two reception rooms and a kitchen on the ground floor, and there is a good sized back yard (with pot plants) to the rear of the property. Guest access Guest room: double bed, single wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair, desk, and chairs. Study/breakfast room: desk, table and chairs, and tea/coffee making facilities. Guest bathroom: toilet, wash-hand basin, bath, and electric shower over the bath. There is a single foldaway bed which can be made up for an extra guest, if required, and a travel cot (for an infant) is available. You can use the downstairs kitchen which is well equipped: crockery and utensils, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. You can also use the washing machine and tumble dryer. During your stay Check-in after 18:00 (Mon - Fri) or after 16:00 (Sat and Sun). Check out by 12 noon on the day of your departure. I will be happy to share information on the local area, places to visit, and things to see or do. Please enjoy any guidebooks, books and other literature you discover during your stay. Other things to note Good WiFi in the house. Access: there are two flights of stairs to the guest rooms on the top floor. Central location: a short distance from Workington town centre, a few minutes walk from the bus station and a 10 minute walk from the train station. If travelling by car, there is good on-street parking (Visitors Permit available) and a nearby multi-storey car park (charges apply).
