Description

Lantana 20 is a stylish penthouse apartment with sea views to the beach 150m away that caters for parties of 2 to 8 guests. Ample outdoor dining and seating, huge living room and use of up to 4 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite and house bath. Easy access to the best beaches, dining and shopping in Barbados. The space Our penthouse apartment is one of the largest at Lantana. It is a four bedroom unit with three bathrooms and a beautiful, large lounge that has an airy, cool feeling about it due to the roofline ceiling that adds tremendous volume to the room. All bedrooms and the lounge have air conditioning. Bookings are accepted for one, two, three or all four bedrooms based on the number of rooms required, not just the number of guests (please read the section on BOOKING BEDROOMS below). Unused bedrooms are locked but access to the huge lounge and terrace is included no matter the size of the party. The apartment is furnished in a chic, loft style but maintains a casual and cool Caribbean feel with ample balcony space for outdoor dining and relaxing, sipping cool rum punches, cocktails and the obligatory Banks beers! The balcony overlooks the beach, a mere two minute walk away and faces West to capture the brilliant sunsets. It also overlooks one of the two pools available for Lantana, amply provided with seating and lounging furniture. The lounge area seats 8 and is provided with cable TV, with US and UK channels available, and WiFi that is available throughout the apartment. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all cooking facilities and is provided with everything needed (pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses) to provide for meals for 8 including a dishwasher. The apartment now has a large fridge freezer as well as a built in fridge which will cater for the largest (and thirstiest) groups. Please note that the fitted washing machine and tumble dryer are disabled and not for guest use. Our agent can help with any personal laundry guests may have which would be for the guests’ expense. BOOKING BEDROOMS: Guests need to book the number of bedrooms required for their party as unused bedrooms are locked. All bedrooms are doubles but if guests wish to use bedrooms for sole occupancy then this needs to be taken into account when booking which will affect the pricing. ** Please contact us to confirm pricing before booking if sole occupancy is required ** The master bedroom opens onto the balcony and has a king-size double bed with ample cupboard space and a built in safe. It has access to its en suite bathroom with tub and shower. Bedroom 2 also has an en suite shower room and has a queen size double bed with plenty of cupboard space. It also has its own south facing small balcony. Bedroom 3 has a queen size bed and bedroom 4 has twin beds that can be pushed together to make a king size double. The house bathroom with tub and shower is located immediately opposite these bedrooms. The lounge and all bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. This is not our home but we have tried to furnish the apartment the way that we want it rather than just as a "let". This means that we have spent money making sure that seating is comfortable and the outdoor furniture is top class. We hope that this is appreciated and that guests will like the extra care that we have invested by treating it just like their home. Guest access Guests have access to the number of bedrooms they require for their party and have paid for. ** PLEASE NOTE that an additional charge is made when a bedroom is occupied on a sole basis. PLEASE CHECK PRICE BEFORE BOOKING BY MESSAGING US. ** Those bedrooms that are not required will be locked but all parties, from one bedroom occupancy upwards, enjoy the benefit of the massive lounge and balcony areas; in effect the space for a large group at the cost of a small group! Other things to note COVID CONSIDERATIONS Our apartment has been approved by the Barbados government as a place to stay while isolating on arrival in the island and awaiting clearance. This involves additional security monitoring as guests are not allowed to leave the apartment until they are cleared. There is a cost to guests for this which would be arranged by our agent who can also organise approved transport to Lantana. Please ask for further details. The apartment is cleaned before guest arrivals in line with Barbados government COVID protocols. A small “starter kit” of essential Covid protection items is provided for guest arrivals. OTHER Lantana is a gated community with on site security at night and remote controlled doors at the entrance to each block with key pad entry. The car park offers ample parking space on site. Shopping in Barbados for visitors is VAT free in many stores and prices are often shown for local and VAT free. Simply ask and present your passport at the cash desk.
