The space Welcome to The Cub Lodge - a 2,000 sq ft lakefront cabin on Cub Lake, with gorgeous sunset views! Cub Lake is a pristine no wake lake, with a sandy bottom and shallow entry from the dock. The cabin sits on a hill with multi-level decks (and stairs) that take you down to the lake level. The levels include a BRAND NEW HOT TUB, fire pit area, an outdoor dining space, and a dock with room to lounge. Available for use is a pedal boat, two kayaks, an 18-foot floating mat, and fishing gear. As soon as you enter the cabin, you are immediately greeted with window views of the lake! This first floor is designed for open-concept living, complete with a fully-stocked kitchen, spacious living room, dining room, and bar area. The living room includes a gas fireplace and 65” Samsung Smart TV with Roku connectivity (BYOP - bring your own passwords). The rest of the main level consists of a laundry room with a washer, dryer, and ample storage, as well as one full bathroom, complete with a shower and separate clawfoot tub. As you move upstairs, the cabin charm continues, with wood wall paneling, hand-carved staircase railings, and stained glass windows. It includes one full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and 3 bedrooms - one with a king bed, another with a queen bed, and the last with a queen bed and two twin beds. We call the last bedroom, the suite room because it’s huge! It boasts a reading corner, work area with desk and bookshelf, and an oversized closet. We are dog-friendly! The dog fee is $250 per stay, and a maximum of 2 dogs allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so we can prep the house with amenities for your arrival. Please refrain from letting them on the beds. Booking guests will be responsible for any damage. Please reach out with any questions!
