A sympathetically restored traditional farm building situated in a rural location just 8 miles north of York. Nestled behind the old farmhouse in stunning countryside between the villages of Sheriff Hutton, with its well stocked village shop and deli and Farlington with its traditional rural pub. We are ideally located for exploring the historic city of York, majestic Castle Howard, North York Moors and Railway, the rugged Yorkshire coastline as well as the market towns of Helmsley and Malton. The space Peacefully situated in the countryside and enjoying panoramic views towards the Howardian Hills, the Fold Yard at Cornborough is full of character and charm with exposed beams and traditional features throughout. It offers self contained accommodation for up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms both with en-suite facilities, the beds are king sized of which one is zip-linked and can be made into 2 singles if required. Both bedrooms have double doors leading out onto the cobbled patio. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, an open plan dining/living room with Smart TV, games cupboard and books, and Wifi throughout the whole of the cottage. Underfloor heating in all rooms means the cottage is always cosy and warm. Outside there is a private enclosed patio, a great place to catch the sun in the morning and a separate seating area in the fold yard which catches the evening sun. The utility/boot room next door houses the washing machine and is a good for drying muddy boots (and dogs). Next to the fold yard there are 2 parking spaces for guests. We are dog friendly and welcome 1 small/medium sized dog at no extra charge.
