Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located private room and ensuite available in a fully renovated 4br home with rooftop and seperate living area. Conveniently situated next to public transport and restaurants and bars within Brunswick (No. 19 tram + Moreland train station on the Upfield train line). The space G'day. We are a gay couple (Lucas + Hugh) who live in a 2-story passive house we designed and built to the highest sustainability standards possible. The house has a large modern kitchen and dining, three bedrooms (each with its own ensuite), two living areas, separate laundry, and an amazing rooftop with views all around. The Airbnb bedroom has a queen bed, full private ensuite. We can set the the room in 2 ways, for your comfort. Option 1 is with a reading chair and side table. Option 2 - if you need a private space to work from, we can rearrange the room with a desk, office chair and LCD screen. Let us know what you prefer in advance so we can have it ready for you before you arrive. Guest access In addition to your private bedroom and ensuite, you’ll have access to generous shared spaces throughout the home, including the kitchen, dining area, multiple sitting areas and the rooftop. The layout offers a real sense of openness, with two separate living zones: a downstairs lounge with a TV, and a spacious upstairs sitting room located next to your bedroom — ideal for relaxing without feeling crowded. During your stay We’ve called this neighbourhood home for over a decade and know all the great local spots — from long-time favourites to new bars and restaurants. We’re always happy to chat and offer recommendations, or to give you complete privacy and quiet time. We’ll follow your lead and hope you have a wonderful stay. Other things to note This home is a certified passive house, designed to feel noticeably calm the moment you step inside. It is highly insulated and exceptionally quiet when doors and windows are closed, offering a sense of privacy, stillness and comfort that guests often comment on. A whole-of-house ventilation system gently circulates and filters fresh air through ceiling vents, maintaining consistent air quality without the need to open windows. Triple-sealed, double-glazed European tilt-and-turn windows help regulate temperature year-round and significantly reduce outside noise. With enhanced acoustic insulation throughout both internal and external walls, the house remains remarkably quiet — creating a peaceful, uninterrupted environment for rest, work, and sleep.
