Paternoster Water

Small but clean and bright, A’gua (Portuguese for Water) is the perfect spot for a couple wanting to enjoy Paternoster. Great restaurants and shops are a short walk away, booking recommended, or drive and explore what this small fishing village has to offer. Bek Baai is the quiet side of Paternoster, the beach is beautiful The space A’gua is a small free standing cottage on a private property. Across a road, the beach is approximately 50 meters away. Private off road parking and security gate and window guards. Lunar is a friendly dog belonging to the owner Di Guest access The patio off the cottage with its own entrance is your private space but feel free to sit in main garden. Other things to note The owner, Di lives in the house behind the cottage. A’gua is separate and private. Bek Baai is the quiet side of Paternoster, boarded by Cape Colombine Nature Reserve which is great for walking, cycling and birding. Paternoster is famous for great restaurants. Booking essential at Leeto, Wolfgat, Gaaitjie, Noisy Oyster, Voorstrand, Seekat, Kreeftegang. The others which include Whales Rib, Blikkie, Paternoster Hotel, Jolly Rodger to name a few usually can fit you in. South Africa does has security issues. The local security company keeps an eye on the area and security gates and windows are there for your peace of mind. Please don’t buy mussels and crayfish from A’gua. If you wish to purchase these, the legitimate sellers can be found at the boats in the morning or at the roadside in central Paternoster. Lunar, my female dog lives on the premises and might greet you with a woof to alert me, however she is very friendly. Let me know if you are nervous of dogs and I’ll be there to meet and introduce you. She is not allowed inside your unit. Please tell her ‘out’ or ‘away’. Paternoster is safe to walk around and friendly locals are always happy to assist. The local OK Minimark has everything you may want. Agua now has a dedicated WiFi connection so good reception. Agua is a quiet getaway for two, please no day visitors.
