Situated in a quiet street, only a 5 min walk to the beach and 10 mins to a well serviced shopping centre and supermarket. The retreat has private access, separate pool entrance, private patio, large tropical garden with gazebo and outdoor dining area. As hosts we live in the front of this large tropical home and your apartment is separated by soundproofed walls. You will see us around but we respect your privacy - we are here to assist you if you need anything. The bedroom has a comfy Queen bed, loads of storage and bedding options and a view of the pool and garden. Extra day/single bed is in the kitchen area. A cot and high chair are available if required. The bright and airy kitchen with high ceiling has table and seating for four. It has everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable home away from home and is ideal for a long term stay. A comfortable single/day bed with privacy screen can accommodate an additional adult or child. The kitchen is all ready to use with gas cooker, toaster, electric kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer and air fryer. All crockery, cutlery, utensils and basic pantry supplies are provided. The cosy living room with a view to the pool and garden has a 55" smart TV with Netflix, comfy couches for relaxing, books and board games. Large screened windows, ceiling fans and air conditioning add to your comfort. The large bathroom has a full size bath, hot shower, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hand wash, hair dryer and lots of natural light. The toilet is in a separate room. The apartment has ceiling fans and air conditioning throughout. There is a bright and airy dedicated workspace with fast WiFi and charging station. Automatic washing machine, clothes line, dryer, iron and ironing board are all in the apartment, as well as vacuum cleaner, mops etc. The large and breezy tiled patio features exotic decor, a relaxing hammock, comfy couch and recliner to enjoy some down time or take a nap. There is a full size dining table here with 4 chairs and lights for evening dining. Cool off, relax or exercise in the large saltwater pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The pool area has deck chairs and outdoor shower. Clifton Beach is a 5 minute walk from the guesthouse and features free gas barbecues, picnic area and play ground as well as public toilets, shower and netted swimming enclosure during summer. There are lots of good dining options nearby and a bus service to the city and other beaches. Palm Cove is a pleasant 30 minute walk along a dedicated path by the beach, or a 5 min drive for great cafes and restaurants.
