Firecrest - Lakeside Glamping

Relax & unwind, under the stars in a Lakeside Star Bell Tent sleeping up to 4 people on a stunning small off grid eco campsite with a Silver Green Tourism award. Overlooking a beautiful 2 acre lake, wild, natural and peaceful, it’s the ideal place to get away from it all whilst being within easy reach of some of the most popular holiday destinations on both the north and south coasts of Cornwall. The site facilities include composting toilets and off grid, hot showers. All bedding is provided. The space This 5 meter Lakeside Star Bell Tent has a zipped in groundsheet and sleeps up to 4 people. Our tents include the following as standard: Real king sized bed with a real mattress. 2 floor based airbeds (if needed) All bedding Low level tables Gas stove (to be used outside) and kettle Mugs Tea, Coffee & Milk for your arrival Cool box and ice blocks (we can re-freeze them for you) Mirror One re-chargeable lantern Bunting Door mat and rug Fire pit (some logs provided and then available to purchase on site) Picnic Bench Travel Cot (if needed, please let me know) Please note, you will need to bring your own towels. If you would like to use the gas stove to cook (outside the tent), you will need to bring pots and pans, plates, cutlery etc. NO kitchen equipment is provided.. We allow up to 2 well behaved dogs per tent, but request that they are not allowed to sleep or lie on the beds. This is an off grid site and there is no electricity to your bell tent. At reception we offer a charging service to charge your devices for £1 per charge and rechargeable lanterns for free. Please get in touch to arrange to meet to get your devices on charge. If you would like something plugged in overnight, Mel is happy to meet you up until 8.30pm. The compost toilets and showers are a one and a half minute walk from your bell tent. Biodegradable body wash is provided to use in the showers. Please feel free to enjoy a stroll around the lake. Fishing the lake is an extra cost and you do need a rod license and your own fishing gear. We look forward to welcoming you. Facilities are simple and eco friendly, with composting toilets and hot showers. Catch and release fishing is available on site. Just 9 miles from Mawgan Porth, 10 miles from Padstow, 11 miles from Newquay and 15 miles from Mevagissey it’s the perfect base to explore Cornwall this Summer.
