This lovely cottage is approx 10km from the center of Cape Town and 8.5km from the popular Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. There is a great shopping center with a variety of shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is close to the R27 West Coast tourist route, and MyCiti bus route. The cottage has a small private North facing garden with an entertainment area, as well as unlimited Wifi access and cozy indoor fireplace. The perfect getaway for a single traveler, digital nomad or a couple. The space This newly built cottage (2024) on a 250m2 plot is surprisingly spacious and very private. The cottage can accommodate 1 or 2 people in one bedroom. The bedroom has a Queen-sized bed as well as a desk and chair. The walk in bedroom cupboard provides plenty of storage for clothing and suitcases, and there is an ensuite bathroom with a shower, as well as a separate guest toilet off the entrance. A comfortable Queen mattress with white cotton 300TC percale bedding ensure a good night’s rest, and there is a portable fan to keep you cool on those warm summer nights. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, a 4 plate hob - 2 electric and 2 gas, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We have also supplied some basics... coffee, tea, sugar, olive oil, butter, salt, and pepper. The open plan lounge / dining room has a 4-seater dining room table and a comfortable couch. The room is bright and light with a large sliding door opening onto the private North facing garden complete with a small entertainment area and braai (barbecue) facilities. There is a LCD television with android TV box and the cottage has unlimited Wifi access. The house is serviced weekly, and towels and linen are changed. Should guests require this more frequently this can be arranged at an additional charge. Your hosts, Debbie, and Stuart, stay on the property next door, and are available should you have any queries or need anything. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 250m2 property, excluding the garage. There is secure off street parking for 2 cars behind a locked driveway gate. The hosts may on occassion require access to the garage, but this should not impact the guests in any way. Other things to note The cottage is single storey with no steps within the house. There is however one step to get to the front door and a step down from the wooden deck to the small private garden.
