Canyon View Lodge - Apartment

Nestled in Matka's oak forest, Canyon View Lodge offers the best, well, canyon view. The Comfort Apartment is our most spacious, private, and well-equiped unit, a great option for those who want the comfort of home while enjoying Matka's treasures: from the cliffs and greenery, to the river and the hidden churches. The property is only directly accesible high-clearance vehicles, otherwise people need to do a small hike to get up—but the jaw-dropping view is worth it! The space The house, once the creative residence of the celebrated Macedonian poet Slavka Maneva, has now been revamped with eclectic, locally-designed interior pieces, while maintaining the history of the house's exterior. With the Comfort Apartment, you get the whole top floor to yourself, which you access through a private entrance. It has a fully-functioning kitchen, two bathrooms, a huge balcony, and a spacious living room. The two bedrooms have comfortable queen-sized beds. There is also one sofa bed in the living room, which can sleep a single person. A baby cot is available at no additional price. While there is no AC in the rooms individually, there is an air-conditioner in the living room. Guest access If you book this apartment, you are welcome to use the whole first floor and balcony. The outdoor spaces are shared between guests, as is the laundry room. Other things to note The road to the property is a dirt road, so only high-clearance vehicles can make it directly to the property without any problem. All of the guests that have come with a low-clearance car have had no issues reaching us directly, but they are also welcome to park in a well-lit area 200m away (a 4 min. hike). If guests are coming by bus, they will have to hike for 8 min. from the last stop 60 of Bus no. (around 800m away) to get up to the property.
