The Garden House is located on twelve private acres on the flanks of Black Mountain surrounded by rolling hills and ranch lands. The home site consists of two buildings separated by a terraced court yard. The modern , Architect designed main house features a "Great Room". The well equipped food preparation area is a feature of this common gathering space. Bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. The space The Garden House is a single story home on twelve acres of private land, nicely nestled among oak and bay trees. Adjacent to the entry courtyard is a lovely terraced vegetable and flower garden that guests may use to enhance their meals or just enjoy its sites and sounds. Also on the property is a spring fed pond. with a tree shaded deck and a large picnic table at one end of the pond.This is a great place for morning coffee, or a before dinner stroll. The home site consists of two buildings separated by a terraced courtyard. The main house can accommodate Five to Seven guests and the smaller adjacent house provides for an additional three guests. The Garden House has a large "Great Room " that is incorporates a well equipped food preparation/cooking area. Central to this light filled room is a large custom built Ash wood dinning table that comfortably can seat 12 guests. lounge areas for conversation , TV viewing, and reading are on the North portion of the room. The opposite end of the great room has seating and sleeping options and a generous gathering area around the upright piano. The cooking and food preparation area is a noted feature of this room .The Garden House main room is ideal for entertaining, dinning and food preparation... A paradise for those who love to cook and share the craft with friends or family. The Master Bedroom Suite is large and very private with a king bed. A stunning window wall with a Bay Tree view, dominates the space. A sofa that converts to a full bed can be used in this room if needed The adjoining large well-appointed master bath with euro-style fixtures and large glass enclosed shower completes the master suite. The second bedroom located at the opposite end of the main living space has a queen bed as well as an integrated, semi private office space. The bedroom has an individual entrance off the South facing entry courtyard. It also has a sofa bed for an additional guest. The second full bath serves this bedroom, but also is accessible to guests from the Great Room. The "Cheese House", is named only for its wedge shape. This cozy house provides the 3rd bedroom accommodations. This independent space is just a few steps away from the main house via an Oak shaded courtyard. The main floor has a queen bed ,sofa, lounge chair and TV A full bath and a fully equipped mini kitchen or "kitchenette . The upstairs loft bedroom has a full bed. This separate, but integrated space provides not only added sleeping space, but a private, independent accommodation for additional guests or friends, independent of the main house.
