Description
Shepherds Crook at Coombes is a cosy Shepherds Hut nestled in the beautiful Southdowns National Park in West Sussex on our family farm. Ideally situated at Passies Pond fishing lakes and just a stones throw from the City of Brighton, on a country lane between Shoreham-by-Sea and the quaint and historic town of Steyning, Our lovely hut aims to provide a relaxing and cosy retreat for everyone, whether you are exploring the countryside, seaside or towns or simply unwinding with nature around you. The space The Hut boasts a luxurious double bed, bathroom and kitchenette with a very romantic log burner and copper bath tub. It is the perfect destination to relax and unwind, completely surrounded by the stunning South Downs National Park and River Adur. Bring your favourite book and nestle down! The Kitchen has a sink, toaster, kettle, mini fridge with small freezer box, air fryer, electric plug in hob, and multicooker. Cutlery and crockery is provided. In the bench there are small fold out tables in case you want to eat inside. Outside there is a firepit with a swing over BBQ arm and outside chairs and table. In the Kitchen/ Living area there is a small hobbit log burner. Some heat bricks, firelighters and matches are provided for your stay. Opposite the log burner is a bench with pillows. Outside, the hut area is completely fenced for your privacy. Parking is on site and is free. Fishing is possible on Passies Pond with a valid ticket (can be purchased on the gate) and with all the relevant licences and equipment. Coombes Farm is a fully working farm and opens for lambing during the spring and is a fantastic and educational day out for all the family.
