Quaint and unique - Casa Poeta (entire house)

Casa Poeta is a unique house in central Tavira, less than 5 minutes walk from all amenities and boat access to the beach. It is one of the few remaining Algarvian house that has kept its original interior design, testifying to the architecture of Tavira in the early 20th century. The house has two floors of 100 square meters each. The top floor is classical while the first floor is a modern open space. Unique and original artworks from Asia, Africa and Europe are displayed throughout C.Poeta. The space The house communicates between two streets and can be accessed through two different entrances, including one that is step-free, making it ideal for guests with walking difficulties. The top floor includes two separate bedrooms, one living room, one study/TV room, one bathroom with toilet, one separate toilet, one modern kitchen equipped with top-notch appliance (a dream kitchen for guests who like to cook!). There is also a terrace where guests can enjoy sitting outside. The top-floor has been renovated as it was originally built, including a unique wooden ceiling, which is a testimony of the Algarvian design at the beginning of the last century. The first (ground) floor is a large open and living space with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The open space includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining/ livin area with TV, and a small area that can be used as sleeping area. Both floors have ample storage cabinets. Original African, Asian and European artworks, which have been collected by the owners over the years, have been left for guests to enjoy. Guests are kindly required the utmost care for the unique pieces of arts exhibited throughout the house.
