Lil's Cottage

Cessnock has lashings of country charm and a laid-back vibe. You are close to everything when you stay at our centrally located Circa 1926 cottage. Around the corner is a great country pub and only a 5 minute stroll to the town centre. A 5-minute drive will take you to the heart of the Hunter Valley vineyards, with over 150 cellar doors and wine tasting. But it's not all about the grapes... there are great cafes/restaurants and many family attractions and experiences throughout this region. The space Our cottage has large bedrooms, separate lounge & dining room & a modern eat-in kitchen. There is a lovely back yard with undercover eating areas, barbecue, pool and established gardens which provide multiple spaces for entertaining along with quiet places to escape. There are two master bedrooms with king beds - one of these can be separated into 2 king singles. The third bedroom has 2 king singles. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge room. There are TVs in both the kitchen and the lounge where you can login into your favourite TV/movie apps using our complimentary Wi-Fi. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property - house, garden and pool. The only exception is the garage but there is a double carport for off street parking with plenty of curb side spaces also. Other things to note We have created a guest information pack which will give you some history of our cottage and Cessnock as well as a guide to local amenities, restaurants and things to do. Lil's Cottage is a 2-minute walk from one of Rover Coaches pick up and drop off points for getting to major events and concerts in the vineyards. In the vineyards you can eat in casual cafes, dine in amazing restaurants, book wine tasting tours or wellbeing experiences. For the more adventurous, view the vineyards from the air in a hot air balloon or helicopter (book these options in advance). There are also specialty food and boutique gift shops. Hunter Valley Gardens and Hunter Valley Zoo are great for all ages. Take a full or half day trip to surrounding national parks, historic Maitland, Morpeth, Wollombi, Newcastle beaches and Port Stephens.
