River Access You can access the river directly from the property, or walk down to Mager’s Crossing — one of the easiest and most popular spots for getting into the Frio. Other things to note We provide a starter pack of essentials: 1 roll of paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, hand soap, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and trash bags. Every bed is made with linens, comforters, pillows, and mattress pads. Guests receive 1 bath towel and 1 washcloth per person. Guests should replenish additional supplies as needed. Cell service is limited — AT&T and T-Mobile typically work best but can still be spotty. It’s part of the charm of escaping to the Frio! Please remember: This is the true Frio River experience. Many guests camp or stay in shelters or tents — our homes and cabins offer comfort and convenience while keeping that authentic Hill Country feel.
