Forget your worries in this spacious and peaceful place. The space Only half an hour drive from Steinkjer city center. -Follafoss is a small place in Steinkjer municipality in Trøndelag. It is located by Beitstadfjorden, in the inner part of Trondheimsfjorden. - In Follafoss there are shops, gym, gas pumps, alpine slope, marina, school and kindergarten. Many nice places to go hiking, and here you will probably find Norway's best chanterelle and mushroom places. (The places are not secret to tenants) ;) -If you like to go hiking, you can go up to Follaheia, where you have a view of the entire Innherred. The hike is 3.1 km, 574 meters of altitude. Every August the Follaheil race is organized, which has become a great success with many participants in different classes. - Hunting grounds. - The boat can be used by the tenant during the summer season by appointment. - Unfortunately, pets cannot be allowed due to allergies. - Private parking space for cars. CABIN: We are very fond of our cabin and we use it ourselves as much as we can both on weekends and holidays. As the cabin is in "daily" use by us and our children, all visits here are 100% trust-based. We take pictures before and after each rental period, as an extra security for both you and us. Laundry room with washing machine. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and meals. Brand new fridge with freezer. Oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, waffle iron, blender, Moccamaster and everything else you need, just use everything that is there. If you want to bring the coffee cup out on the largest porch, there is a direct exit there from the kitchen. There is outdoor furniture in artificial rattan, where you can sit and look out over the lake. In addition, there are two lounge chairs and two sun loungers there. There is also the possibility of grilling on a gas grill. On this porch you have the morning sun and it is there until the afternoon. Here there is also a Solo stove where you can light a fire, or grill sausages for example. (It provides heat, but no annoying smoke). It can be moved. In the living room there is a Samsung 55" smart TV with all channels and the possibility of all streaming services. New furniture from Bohus. Dining table in white oiled oak with 4 chairs from Halvor Bakke. Sofa set from Sofa Company. Wireless Internet with good speed is available in all rooms in the house. Living room, bedroom 1, hallway and bathroom have lights with dimming. Heat pump and wood stove in the living room. All other rooms have Mill smart ovens that are on all year round. Bluetooth speakers can be used outside and inside. In the bedroom on the 1st floor there are charging plates for iPhone, and charger for Applewatch. These belong to the room and shall not be moved. In bedroom 3 there is a 65" Samsung smart TV with the possibility of all streaming services. There is also an X-box here. In bedroom 4 there are many board games, just use these :) On the property there is also a freestanding barbecue house with furniture, cozy lighting and outdoor fireplace. Perfect for a nice evening with, for example, music and board games. There are separate Bluetooth speakers in the barbecue house. In the barbecue house you can sit in a t-shirt in the winter. It warms up well, even if it only has three walls. Super cozy even if the weather is bad :) There are many nice hiking areas nearby. Whether you like mountain peaks with nice views, forests or water. I have a boat down in the marina, it is taken up in the winter. The boat can be rented in the summer for an additional fee of NOK 500. Unfortunately, pets cannot be allowed due to allergies.
