This is our home away from home in the village of Carreglefn, Anglesey.  Nestled in the tranquil village of Carreglefn on the Isle of Anglesey. This delightful cottage provides a cosy retreat with enough space to comfortably accommodate up to five people. Pack up a picnic and visit nearby sandy beaches, spend a day relaxing at Cemaes Bay, Lligwy or Benllech Beaches. Explore the enchanting forest of Newborough Warren and Ynys Llanddwyn, a nature reserve with stunning dunes, forests, and views of Snowdonia. Visit historic town Beaumaris, renowned for its impressive medieval castle, discover the diverse marine life at the Anglesey Sea Zoo, or venture into the Snowdonia National Park within an hour for a day of mountains, lakes and forests. Upon entering the cottage, you'll be welcomed into a warm and inviting living area. The decor exudes a cosy ambiance, combining elements of modern comfort with a touch of rustic charm. Soft hues and tasteful furnishings create an atmosphere that promotes relaxation and a sense of home. The room is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. You can gather around the fireplace, creating a cosy atmosphere during cooler evenings. The cottage boasts a well-equipped kitchen with elevated views across the island, where you can prepare delicious meals using fresh local ingredients. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen, offering a lovely space for enjoying family meals or engaging in lively conversations. Also on the ground floor, a few steps down from the kitchen, you'll find a utility area with washing machine, extra fridge and ample space for your outdoor gear. Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms to choose from and the family bathroom. The bedrooms have been designed for a good night’s sleep with soft bed linen and high-quality mattresses such as Hypnos and Swoon. Outside, to the back of the property, the patio doors lead out to the decked area with lovely views of the countryside and the distant sea. A few steep steps down from the deck lead to the lawned garden and further seating area. Enjoy al fresco meals in the sunshine, watch the kids playing or simply relax with your favourite book.
