Corbett Cottage w/ Sweeping View

Peaceful, quiet and private with spacious deck and gorgeous views looking west over trees and hills with the city lights of Portland and a stretch of the Columbia River in the distance. Experience colorful sunsets and the best of rural Corbett while staying in a brand new, modern, 2 story ADU-guest house. 30 minutes from Portland and PDX, 45 minutes to Hood River, close to the Historic Columbia River Highway, Women's Forum Viewpoint and Crown Point. The space Open concept main floor with full kitchen, island, separate dining table, comfortable living room with plenty of seating and large windows across the front looking out onto private deck with a beautiful view of the country side. Fast Wi-Fi and several areas to set up a work station. Full bathroom with shower on the main floor. Upstairs is a spacious room with a comfy king bed with 100% cotton bedding, extra blankets, cozy robes in 2 sizes, blackout curtains, 1/2 bath, closet and more beautiful views. Stairs are a bit narrow and steep so people with mobility issues may find it challenging. Deck is furnished with a small dining table, deck chairs and a sun umbrella for shade. Parking is next to the cottage. Guest access Our main house is in close proximity to the guest house, but separated by a patio and landscaping, providing privacy. There are no shared walls but there is a connecting breezeway with a locked door. Other things to note This charming, rural setting is complete with neighboring farm animals and the occasional wildlife sights and sounds associated with living in the country. The nearby fields are home to rabbits, field mice, squirrels and insects who normally keep to themselves but we do recommend keeping the front door shut when not in use so nothing will enter that you haven't invited in. We don't have a dog but there are several in the area that may wander by and say hi. You may see our friendly, but shy cat Posey in the yard. There is no public transportation so you will need a car. Country store with gas station and deli is about 2 miles away.
