Private guest suite with pool

Our homely, tropical, fully self-contained, one-bedroom guest suite is the perfect place to explore Darwin and its surrounds. Located in a quiet residential area conveniently close to the airport 2 km away. Relax on your balcony with an evening drink while listening to the local birdlife overlooking the back garden and pool. The space • The unit is light and airy with access via patio doors to your own private balcony overlooking the back garden and pool. • Guests can enjoy tea/coffee making facilities at their bar area with seating, a small sized fridge, large TV with chromecast and WiFi. • The bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed with a wardrobe. • Guests also have access to a small kitchen/pantry area with small electric stove, microwave, airfryer and iron/ironing board downstairs. • The private shower room and toilet is also located downstairs with towels and hand and body wash supplied. • The laundry area with washing machine (shared space) is also available for guests use. • The unit is situated alongside the main residence where we live with its own entrance and free parking. Guest access • To access the unit you will use the gate on the farthest left of the main house. We will send further instructions before you check in. • The pool can be accessed via the back door downstairs between the hours of 8am to 8pm. Other things to note • Jingili is close to the airport, Marrara sports grounds, Charles Darwin University and a brief trip to the city. Take an evening stroll to the Jingili Water Gardens or along Rapid Creek and explore the breathtaking foreshore sunsets and food stalls. The best coffee this side of town is a short ride away as are the weekend Rapid Creek markets. • The flat is beside our home but the house is brick and very quiet. We have a young dog who is sometimes outside, he is very friendly and loves any attention he can get! Please let us know if dogs are an issue. We will accept bookings with small breed dogs but there is a small fee added. • You may see small lizards in the property. Please let them be, they are friendly and help keep insects away. We change roach baits 4x per year and we have the full house, inside and out, professionally sprayed however, on the odd occasion a cockroach may wander in. This is part of the fun of living in Darwin (and Australia) and by booking you are agreeing you are ok with this.
