On arrival, set foot through the front door into the elaborate bedroom retreat where slumber and bathing await. Embrace the layered, raw textures of luxurious linens that adorn the timeless queen-sized iron bed. Handcrafted BOEM coverlets, sumptuous throws and cushions make for the perfect escape to dream land. Dimmed lighting and a dark palette creates a moody ambience to submerge yourself in the antique claw foot bathtub for long relaxing soaks. Locally blended bath crystals and custom-made soaps are within arms reach as you soothe away the day. THE LOUNGE ROOM... A Chesterfield couch takes centre stage in this cozy space, whilst the crackling of the open fireplace sets the mood for your first night. Collected treasures displayed throughout add to the alluring eclectic vibe. A touch of taxidermy, a leather pouffe, now all thats left to do is put your feet up, relax and unwind. Enter the stylish, newly added bathroom hidden behind a 100 year-old crafted barn door. Vintage lighting, gorgeous tapware, a recycled vanity and underfloor heating ensures for a comfortable stay. THE KITCHEN... The light filled fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with basic pantry staples of assorted teas, hot chocolate and marshmallows, salt and pepper, olive oil and spreads. A complimentary breakfast of artisan bread, farm fresh eggs, homemade granola and fresh fruit will be ready and waiting for when you wake up. A Nespresso pod machine is also provided should you require your caffeine fix. THE COURTYARD... Outside there is a private paved courtyard. Enjoy the vine covered arbour while sipping your freshly brewed morning cuppa. THE NEED TO EXPLORE... Pack a picnic and enjoy a stroll along the glistening shores of the Campaspe River. Take in the sites of the majestic River Red Gums and experience the superb array of bird life, a favourite for birdwatches, artists and photography enthusiasts. You may even catch a glimpse of the elusive platypus who likes to play at dusk. Should you choose to travel further afield, neighbouring towns of Rochester, Echuca/Moama and Bendigo are perfect for day tripping and exploring.
