Other things to note The accommodation is in the immediate vicinity (max 5 minutes on foot) of several supermarkets, restaurants, the train station, bakeries, a butcher, cafes, the post office, various banks, doctor's office, pharmacy, veterinarian, playground and an outdoor swimming pool. From the train station there are direct train connections to Thun (8min) or Bern (34min). All connections can be found on www. sbb. ch By car you can reach 4 large ski areas in the canton of Bern in 45-60min. (Jungfrau Region, Zweisimmen Gstaad, Adelboden Lenk & Meiringen Hasliberg) It takes 30 minutes to get to Interlaken by car and 40 minutes by train. Thun and the lake can be reached by bike in 15-20 minutes. A swimming spot on the Aare River is 10 minutes away (only for good swimmers). IMPORTANT INFO: There is construction going on on neighboring properties since September 2024. Permitted working hours are 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. & 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. There should be no construction noise outside of these times.
