The tiny house Brugg "Chez Claudine" is located on the outskirts of Brugg in the idyllic district of Altenburg. With a mini kitchen, cozy sleeping and working area on the gallery with a view, seating in the wildly romantic garden, free parking and Wi-Fi. An oasis to relax or work, a good starting point for explorations, sights and bike tours. Brugg is ideally located between Basel, Bern and Zurich. In 3 minutes (car), 7 minutes (bike) or 20 minutes on foot you are in the center or at the train station. No animals allowed. The space Welcome to our charming tiny house "Chez Claudine" in Brugg! Experience a unique getaway in our newly renovated garden house that captivates with bright wooden walls and an inviting atmosphere. A narrow staircase leads you up to the gallery, which offers breathtaking views to the countryside. Here is a cozy double bed with some room to work or for yoga. Amenities include: **Sleeping area:** ● Gallery with queen size double bed (160x200cm): Cozy sleeping area. ● Sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) with topper, ideal for two people in the living area. ** Minikitchen:** ● Fully-Equipped ● 1 induction hob, multikombi microwave and fridge (incl. small icebox). ● Coffee and tea selection: Tchibo coffee capsules and filter coffee. **living room:** ● small living/dining area for 4 persons: Bright space overlooking the tree garden. ● Multimedia: Smart TV (Netflix) with HDMI to USB-C connection, free WiFi. **Mini bathroom:** ● Separate toilet: hand and bath towels available. ● Shower: Fully equipped with shampoo and conditioner dispenser, bathrobe and hair dryer. **Outside:** ● Seat in the garden: With gas grill, barbecue tongs and aluminum bowls. ● Free parking directly at the property or nearby. ● Space for bikes or canoes. **Extra:** ● Screening: Day curtains and opaque pleats (from March 2024). In just a few minutes walking you can visit the small old town, the city museum, various gyms, cinemas, cafes and restaurants. Enjoy relaxing hours in the summer with us on the Aareufer, in the outdoor and indoor swimming pool (4 minutes walk) or all year round in the nearby thermal baths. Walk or cycle along the Aare in the floodplains, via the Genussstrasse in the vineyards or to the moated castle of Switzerland (merger of the rivers Aare, Reuss and Limmat). Due to construction work in the neighborhood, there is currently construction noise on weekdays, especially in the early morning hours; On weekends, it is usually quiet and still suitable for relaxing stays. Construction is expected to last until autumn 2026. The tiny house is well insulated, but outside noise can be noticeable. Guest access The separate seat invites you to linger or work and offers the opportunity to occasionally have a nice chat with the hostess during her gardening in the beautiful, huge arboretum. Access to washer and dryer is possible on request and for a fee. (Laundry room with separate entrance in the house next door.) On request and for a fee, 2 bicycles (city bikes with basket and helmet) are available. Please register in advance. A canoe (Canadian) of the brand "Mad River Canoe" type: Tahoe 16 is available by appointment and for a fee. Life jackets are available. Only for experienced water sports enthusiasts! Other things to note Access to the tiny house should be guaranteed at all times via a key box with a code. The code will be communicated in a separate info email/text message. The tiny house can be reached from two sides. Either via Sodweg or via Kanalstrasse. The tiny house is located on the “Sodweg” in the garden behind the main building with the address Kanalstrasse 5. When you stand in front of the house, follow this road down to the first turn left into the “Sodweg” to reach the tiny house. The exact building number is 577 and is only visible from the garden side. Here is the entrance to your accommodation. Please park the car on Kanalstrasse near the fenced pasture at the gravel path or in the Badi parking lot.
