West House, Cottage by the Sea.

New for 2024, West House offers two ensuite bedrooms in a spacious, shoreside cottage in what must be, one of the best locations on Skye. Situated in the historic village of Stein, the seafront garden, on beautiful Lochbay is perfect for an early evening drink or watching the famous Waternish sunsets. The cottage is also just seconds walk away from The Stein Inn & the Michelin starred, Lochbay Restaurant. Open plan living & off road parking makes this a very convenient holiday destination. The space The front door leads straight into the open plan living area. There is an understairs cupboard for outdoor wear. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven & hob. The washing machine is in a separate utility room. The shelves in the kitchen are open for ease of access. There is a large, triple window at this end of the room. The Ercol table, in the middle of the long room, seats four people comfortably. The lounge area has two large sofas, tv, log burner, books & guides. This end of the room has a double window. Upstairs, the larger of the two bedrooms has a king sized bed & ample storage space. The ensuite bathroom has a bath, large walk in shower, sink & wc. The smaller bedroom has a double bed, dressing table, chair & hanging space. The ensuite bathroom is compact but has a large sink, small shower cubicle & wc. Guest access Guests can access the whole cottage including the utility room. Guests can use the, off road, allocated parking space at the side of the house. Guests can use the front garden which is shared with guests of our other, smaller property 'Florries' which is just for 2 people. The back garden is out of bounds as it's not a terribly useable space. Other things to note TV offers NOW streaming service through which you can access most channels including Sky & Netflix.
